Cancer screening can save lives
In collaboration with the Champlain Regional Cancer Program, the Archipel Ontario Health Team will host three information sessions on cancer screening in the Ottawa East and Prescott-Russell region.
Who are these sessions for?
These sessions are intended for patients, families, and health care professionals.
- Patients, with or without a family doctor, who live in Ottawa East or Prescott-Russell.
- People wishing to learn more about cancer screening or wanting to catch up on overdue screenings.
On the sessions' agenda
- Information on cervical, breast, colorectal and lung cancer screening.
- Questions and answers with a physician from Archipel's Primary Care Network and a representative of the Champlain Regional Cancer Program.
- Appointment booking with a nurse for a screening test during in-person sessions.
