Proud of our partners

We are beyond proud of our partners - Hôpital Montfort, Montfort Renaissance (MRI), Canadian Mental Health Association Ottawa (CMHA-O), and Ottawa Public Health (OPH) - for meeting the requirements of BPSO OHT designation by implementing and evaluating BPSO’s best practice guidelines.

Implementation of four best practice guidelines

The implementation of these best practice guidelines began in 2020 and was completed over the course of four years. As per the agreement the with the RNAO, the group chose four of the RNAO’s Best Practice Guideline to implement:

  • Person and Family Centred Care
  • Engaging Clients Who Use Substances
  • Transitions in Care and Services
  • Assessment and Interventions for Perinatal Depression

Present in Toronto for the official ceremony, Dania Versailles, Co-President of the Archipel’s executive committee, shared her immense pride in the accomplishment. “This amazing group of professionals have been working on this project for the past four years and I think this reflects just how critical the advancement of integrated evidence-based and person-centered care is for this OHT.”

Specifically, we would like to thank the following individuals for their contribution: Sharlène Clarke (Archipel), Judith Makana (Montfort), Camille Brunet (Montfort), Natalie Ladouceur (Montfort), Manar El Mami (OPH), Louise Gilbert (OPH), Josée Gauthier (OPH), Natalie Rozon (OPH), Geneviève Mosher (OPH), Dr Nadine Ostiguy (EOCFHT), Stéphanie Bonenfant (MRI), Steve Vachon (MRI) and Dania Versailles of course (CMHA-O).
