François Cholette
Lead, Primary Care Network and System Transformation
François Cholette is responsible for collaborative initiatives aimed at transforming the regional healthcare system and improving the population’s health outcomes. In this strategic role, he contributes to the design and implementation of projects that promote equitable access to care, in line with the priorities of the Archipel Ontario Health Team.
With more than 18 years of experience in the health sector, notably as a kinesiologist and health promoter specializing in chronic disease management, François also holds a Master's degree in Health Services Management (MGSS-MHA) from the Telfer School of Management, which reinforces his expertise in organizational management, transformational leadership, and systems optimization. As part of his administrative residency at Montfort Hospital, he led a strategic project aimed at strengthening the integration between primary care and outpatient services.
"Guided by a systemic vision, innovation, and intersectoral collaboration, I contribute to the evolution of the Primary Care Network by devising and implementing sustainable solutions adapted to the realities and needs of our communities. Having lived my entire life between Ottawa and Hawkesbury, I am deeply rooted in this region and recognize the wealth of perspectives, experiences, and remarkable work of the professionals who work every day in primary care, in community settings, and in hospitals. For me, innovation must be fair and equitable, and it must be built with those who receive the services and those who provide them."
