Brian Schnarch

Lead, Performance and Analytics

Brian Schnarch is responsible for our quality, performance and analytics portfolios. He helps ground and focus our strategy, planning and accountability with performance measurement, evaluation and data analysis. Brian is shared with the Ottawa Valley OHT—an arrangement that benefits both OHTs.

Brian brings 30 years of experience using data to improve care and outcomes. He has worked at the regional and national levels in Indigenous health, population health and health system performance, planning and integration. He led the Indigenous Health team at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) between 2019 and 2023 and the System Performance and Analysis portfolio at the Champlain LHIN between 2007 and 2019. About half of his career has focused on First Nations, Inuit and Métis priorities, supporting Indigenous data sovereignty aspirations.
