Meet Marie-Lou Meawasige, our new Population Health Manager

The Ottawa East Ontario Health team (OEOHT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Marie-Lou Meawasige as Population Health Manager. In her new role, Marie-Lou will be responsible for overseeing population health equity and quality. Recently published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, a study led by 11 Canadian researchers shows that the language used by a physician can have a major impact not only on patient well-being, but also on survival.
